By means of a virtual exhibition, major encyclopaedic works from the three libraries will be presented in a form which should also prove of interest to the non-expert. For the first time, examples of the works under restoration will be selected by all the restorers concerned and presented, together with the respective restoration techniques used, on the internet. In this way, opportunities for further training and exchange of ideas will no longer be the prerogative of restorers taking part in workshops, on the contrary, both international experts from a range of disciplines and the interested public will be encouraged, via a link to the forum, to participate interactively in discussions with all involved.
